Roundtables are opportunities for library staff to network with their peers and discuss various topics, issues, questions, and concerns impacting their libraries. They provide a great opportunity for librarians and staff to share their experiences and learn from others.

NORWELD currently hosts the following roundtables, available throughout the year both in-person at various locations and virtually. See our calendar for currently scheduled roundtables.

Director's Roundtable- This roundtable is for Library Directors and meets every other month at rotating libraries.

Adult Services Roundtable- These roundtables focus on topics relevant to Adult Services and are held at least biannually at rotating libraries (or virtually). Anyone working in a NW Ohio library with an interest in the featured topic is welcome to attend.

Youth Services Roundtable- These roundtables focus on topics relevant to Youth Services and are held at least biannually at rotating libraries (or virtually). Anyone working in a NW Ohio library with an interest in the featured topic is welcome to attend.

Special Interest Roundtables- These roundtables focus on current, specific topics of concern to libraries. Examples include the 2024 Eclipse, Book Bans, and Difficult Patrons. Anyone working in a NW Ohio library with an interest in the featured topic is welcome to attend.

Note: On occasion, some roundtables may be limited to NORWELD full members only or offered first to full members before becoming open to NW Ohio Geographic Member Libraries.
